   The National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum hosted the 37th Annual Prix de West Invitational Art Exhibition and Sale this past weekend. The exhibit included more than 300 paintings and sculpture by 110 of the finest contemporary western artists in the nation. During the weekend festivities, awards were given out with the Prix de West Purchase Award going to Christopher Blossom for his painting "Sunrise in the Golden Gate: Downeaster Benjamin F. Packard". Total sales for this exhibition reached $3.3 million.

   Lord Nelson's Gallery in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania will host their 13th Annual "History Meets the Arts Show" June 18th - 20th. "History Meets the Arts Show" is a three day event within the overall Gettysburg Festival which runs from June 18-27. The Gettysburg Festival provides cultural arts including music, theater, dance, visual arts, children’s and culinary events.
