2010 June Auction

Altermann Galleries & Auctioneers will present its 30th Annual late Spring/Summer auction, Saturday June 19th in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The two session event includes traditional western art in Session I and American Indian Art in Session II which is being presented in association with the Southwestern Association Of Indian Arts (SWAIA). A significant portion of the proceeds will be donated to the non-profit organization that produces Indian Market. The Session I portion, beginning at 1:00 p.m., will present 120 lots including significant works by Joseph Henry Sharp, W.H.D. Koerner, Henry Farny, Rembrandt Bugatti, Olaf Wieghorst, Tom Lovell, and Morris Rippel.

Art On The Boulevard, a fine art gallery in the Vancouver, Washington, will open "Intriguing Impressions" featuring the latest collection of oil paintings by Mitch Baird. "Intriguing Impressions", opening on June 4th and running through the 27th, showcases Mitch’s remarkable ability to capture quiet, every day moments from peaceful rivers in the Pacific Northwest, to the rugged Rocky Mountains, to the awe-inspiring street scenes of Europe. As a gifted plein-air and studio artist, Mitch’s work has garnered several national awards including both the Best of Show and the SW Art Award of Excellence at the prestigious American Impressionist Society show held in Denver, Colorado.

Williams Fine Art in Salt Lake City, Utah will be hosting the Annual Wasatch Society of Artists Show beginning June 18th and running through July 3rd.
