Scottsdale Art Auction

On Saturday, April 10th, the Scottsdale Art Auction will present their Sixth Annual Auction. With over 350 pieces of art available, this year's auction is one of their largest to date. The Scottsdale Art Auction is held in a premier auction facility with a ten thousand square foot, five hundred seat, state-of-the-art sales room located in downtown Scottsdale, Arizona. Original art from Charles M. Russell, Henry Farny, Ernest Blumenschein, E.I. Couse, Bob Kuhn, William Acheff, Howard Terpning, Tucker Smith and many others will be auctioned off during their two session auction.

Salon International 2010, an exhibition showcasing more than 300 original paintings from a wide range of talented artists, will be held in San Antonio April 10th through April 30th at Greenhouse Gallery of Fine Art. The exhibit begins with an open house and artist's reception on Saturday, April 10th from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Serving as the exhibit judge, distinguished master artist, Everett Raymond Kinstler will award one painting the coveted Best of Show, a cash award of $8,000. Total cash awards will be approximately $30,000.

Ken Carlson is featured in a wildlife exhibit at the Steamboat Art Museum in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. This has been an ongoing event at the museum since December 2009. On view are many of Ken's paintings. On April 10th, the exhibition will come to an end.
