Mountain Trails Galleries is hosting a “Holiday Miniatures Show” in their Jackson, Wyoming gallery. This show will feature new works from the talented artists they represent. “Our Holiday Miniatures Show, featuring a wide array of subject matter and styles, will give collectors a perfect opportunity to acquire affordable artwork, either as gifts or as the perfect addition to their collections. From sparkling landscapes to dramatic wildlife and westerns, there is sure to be the perfect gem for all collectors,” says gallery Director Pamela Flores. Meet the artists at a special reception on Thursday, December 17th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. during the Jackson Hole Art Association Art Walk!

The New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum in Las Cruces is opening a new exhibit on Dec. 18 featuring impressionistic Western art with a focus on animals. "Animal Impressions: The Art of Narrie Toole," will be featured in the museum's Arts Corridor. Toole, a native of Kansas, who now resides in Alto, New Mexico, creates colorful paintings featuring livestock such as cattle and horses, to wild animals such as jack rabbits.
